Our outcomes--less than 12% recidivism in our graduates and 37% reduction of crime in our neighborhood--call for this pilot to be continued, studied, and replicated.

Boaz & Ruth's partnership with AmeriCorps began at the state level in 2006 and has grown consistently each year since.  Boaz & Ruth AmeriCorps members are working to revitalize the blighted Highland Park neighborhood by renovating dilapidated properties, incubating businesses, helping the formerly incarcerated find employment, and reenergizing the once-thriving commercial district along Meadowbridge Road.
